Is That A Display Home Or What? (2007-10-04)
We stopped by Rachel's mom's house one day because Rachel had some furniture in there to show Peter that he needed to take care of in another matter. The house was empty as Rachel's mom and step dad were away so I could take pictures freely, hehe.
This house doesn't look like much from the outside but boy, wait
till you see the inside. Do humans live there, ever? Every
room looks spotlessly clean and neat. There's not a chair askew
or a fleck of dust on any surface. It looks like a model home
right out of a House Beautiful magazine. There's also a pool, bar
and BBQ area, and a private pier outdoor with a panoramic waterview.
This house is obviously not your average home in Sydney, so I took a
picture of one that is to show you. Although old and drab like it
is, it can still run close to a million Australian dollars depending on
the size of the lot and its location. I hate to think how much
Rachel's mom's house is worth.
I've taken a picture of the house we used to own when Peter drove us there to show us how much the suburb has changed since we left and I've added that photo at the end.
