Artifagose Cafe (2005-05-09)
There is a cafe-cum-bakery in Daikanyama (
) just a couple
of minutes away from the train station called Artifagose. Many
people go there just to buy its baguette which is quite well-known for
its flavor and the use of all natural ingredients, as shown on a TV
program before.Artifagose has seating area both inside the cafe and out on the
terrace. On a warm day, the tables outside will be pretty much
packed
with customers having a relaxing time sipping coffee and eating freshly
baked bread and pastries bought straight from the bakery inside.
When KL and I went to Daikanyama last time, we specifically sought
the place out so I could try their focaccia that I saw on TV. I
had high hope for it because of the good reputation of the cafe.
But I am disappointed to report that their focaccia is so-so, not
nearly as good as those from
L'Atelier of Roppongi Hills (
).
