"Bert" Lemon (2005-06-18)
Some bugs have been laying cute little yellow eggs on my lemon tree. They like to deposit the eggs right on the lemons and give the tiny fruit the look of a face. I found one such lemon that reminds me of Bert in Sesame Street, it's quite funny.
I scraped a few eggs off the tree and put them in a container to see
what sort of bugs they would hatch into, and the result is not
pretty. It turns out black worms with numerous legs and a pair of
ugly eyeballs lurk inside each of these bright yellow eggs. An
angelic exterior covering an ugly creature inside? Sounds like some
humans to me.
