Dim Sum And Cabramatta (2007-10-08)
Our third yum cha was with a very old friend of KL, Fung with whom we met up in Tokyo before. To my surprise he only lives a few streets from my parents who even has a similar telephone number! That's weird.Anyway, Fung came to pick us up and drove to Cabramatta (about 35
minutes away) to begin our dim sum lunch at Ironchef Chinese Seafood
Restaurant which is right next to Cabramatta Station. Diners were
scarce, possibly due to the fact that it was a Tuesday afternoon.
Dim sum was great and we stayed for a long time just talking well after
we were full.
After lunch we strolled along the other side of the station which is
like a little Vietnamtown. Small grocery shops and restaurants
run by Vietnamese fill the main shopping street of Cabramatta, I bet
you could find good pho there.
