The Rest Of Oct 5 (2010-11-22)
Leaving Covent Garden in late afternoon, we spent the rest of the day strolling and taking pictures of St. James's Park and Buckingham Palace (wanted to see the guard at the gates).
We got lost looking for the station after the Palace visit and ended
up walking a LONG and EXHAUSTING HOUR to finally reach one!
I was absolutely done in by the time we got to Piccadilly
Circus. All we wanted was a place to sit down and have a
drink. Nero was nearby to do the trick. Unfortunately I
made a major error of eating a cookie there that sank like lead in my
stomach. I felt totally stuffed the rest of the day!
I couldn't even think of dinner until late at night and all I wanted
was something soupy and hot. So I got cup noodle at the
supermarket and KL got takeaway from a Portuguese chicken restaurant
near the hotel.
Our last night in London and no big memorable dinner... :(
