Holiday Inn Golden Mile (2015-01-17)
We didn't choose to stay at Holiday Inn for nine nights for its luxury or cheap rates because it has neither. We came for the convenience and we stayed for the convenience. The hotel is less than a minute from MTR in Tsim Sha Tsui, a district we love to stay in.
Holiday Inn is within easy walk to EVERYTHING. Wellcome supermarket, Star Ferry, Harbour City, the Promenade, iSquare, The One etc are all nearby. Location wise, it can't be beat.
However, the hotel is dated. There's obvious wear and tear,
especially in the bathroom. Guest rooms are very decent in size
though. With high ceiling and sitting area, our
room feels spacious and not claustrophobic like
Kowloon Hotel. Oh, the in-room free wifi was super fast and
never gave us any problem, it was a joy to use.
