Nadai Tonkatsu (2010-10-08)
Nadai Tonkatsu, located on the 14th floor of Takashimaya (
) Department Store, is a more upscale fried pork cutlet
restaurant than the "McDonald-grade" Wako. Besides the classic pork and seafood katsu, their menu also includes
more specialized items such as the fresh tofu sheets vegetable rolls KL
ordered and my fresh tofu creamy croquette.
The tender loin katsu included in our set was very tender and
totally non-greasy. The breaded coating was light, crunchy and
delightful. It was a very good meal indeed, but was it much
better than the cheap and cheerful Wako? Not to us.
