Takamuraya Olive House (2013-09-19)
Cousin Winnie and three family ladies visited Tokyo in July. (It's fair to say that she is a huge fan of Japan!)
She treated me to dinner at Toriyoshi on her first
night in Tokyo and this one at Nakamuraya. (We were going to have
that excellent steak rice bowl at Imahan in Takashimaya (
)
department store but found out they only serve it at lunch)
Disappointed, we went to Nakamuraya one floor down.
Since Winnie was under the weather pretty much the whole time during
her
stay, there's lots of food she couldn't eat such as fried and
grilled food (it's a Chinese
thing). Winnie ordered the dinner set and I got the pasta
salad. I enjoyed my food but I had a feeling Winnie wasn't too
crazy about hers. I hope company made up for it, haha!
