Sydney Trip (2014-02-26)
Spent a month in Sydney in January for my dad's 80th birthday. My aunt and her daughter Winnie and her husband also flew from Hong Kong several days prior to the birthday dinner to join in the fun.
I ate tons of excellent food as usual and my parents have been the
most gracious hosts who treated me to many great meals and even bought
me food to bring home.
KL arrived on the morning of Jan 22 and immediately started work at
my parents' house. After three days of w@h, the fun finally
began.
I didn't take photos of every meal such as those at New Shanghai and Se Jong (went twice) that I've written about in the past. Please refer to previous travelogues for details. Other times it's social etiquette that required me to put my camera away. It's mostly on those occasions that I got treated to great food by friends and family such as Mr and Mrs Wong, Angela, and Rachel's mom Helena. Thank you guys.
I must thank my big brother-in-law Sam who spent the whole day
driving the family to the central coast and bought us that beautiful
lunch.
And my brother Peter and his wife Rachel were simply awesome making
us feel so at home at his place. I'll not forget the good times
we watched movies in your cinema, that's very enjoyable. And of
course the food too.
Last but not least, we're very grateful to baby sister Serlina and her hubby David. Thank you for the meals, the shopping trips and letting us make multiple visits to Jing and Pam.
