A Chance To Redeem My Laksa Misconduct (2007-07-17)
Tabibito was left idle for a week because KL was sick for the first half of last week and crazy busy the second half. It's not some serious illness he had, it's just that one particular medicine the doctor put him on that made him very drowsy and zapped all his energy and ability to even sit up without falling asleep and feeling WEAK. So he wasn't able to upload posts or anything, all he could do was sleep when he was sick and then worked his butt off when he got better. But he's good now and although work's still hectic and stressful, he's able to spare some time over the very wet (typhoon) long weekend we just had to work on this site, therefore we are back!
So, the first order of business is to acknowledge my sweet younger sister Serlina who read my Fake Laksa post and felt the need to rescue me, hence the two packets of Laksa mix I received in the mail last week. My Chinese brother-in-law grew up in Malaysia, so when they say this brand is the best tasting amongst many kinds they've tried, I have a lot of faith in that soup mix. I'll let you know how that real Laksa turns out.
