Singapore Day 7-- Prima Taste, Back To Tokyo (2008-12-13)

As soon as we arrived at Changi, we checked in our luggage and got the Tax free Shopping refund out of the way.  It was not even 7 pm yet and we had plenty of time to explore the huge airport.

First order of the day: dinner.

The food option in Terminal 1 sucks.  The Chinese roast meat in the food court was so scary looking we wouldn't eat it if it was free.  We then took a skytrain to check out the dining scene in T2.  The restaurants looked a bit better and the food court a little brighter, but still not too appealing.  Off to T3 via skytrain we went.

Terminal 3 is gigantic!  There're neverending shops and very wide floor space.  I suppose all those new huge aircrafts land in the huge runways of T3 too.  They also have the best and diverse food options.  There's even a Crystal Jade which we didn't see until after we ate!

At the end, we decided to round off our trip with a Prima Taste dinner.   KL ordered the Quarter Crispy Skin Chicken Rice Set and I got the Sampler Set which consisted of a choice of three dishes out of ten in sample size.

KL's a quarter chicken came deboned but not crispy.  It's still very flavorful with a good "chickeny" taste, I liked it a lot.  My noodles were all clumped together as if they were cooked a while ago and left in the bowl, hence the big lump of noodle solid.  The chicken breast meat was very tender though.

After dinner, KL got a piece of Oreo Cheesecake and I found a dim sum place where I got a Lotus Paste Bun which was shockingly delicious!  The paste was silky smooth, not too sweet and the bun fluffy soft, I certainly hadn't expected that from an airport food court.

The packed code share flight was full of Japanese salerymen returning to Tokyo after a business trip.  In retrospect, we should've picked the early morning flight instead of a late night one, KL said Friday night is the time business people return home and the flights are usually full.  Therefore, no upgrade room for us... *weep*

We landed in Narita just before 7 am which means our trip is well and truly over.  Why must vacation time go so quickly?  WHY AH?!   T_T
