HK-Day 4 (2011-05-02)
April 12, our mission today: still trying to locate Serlina and David!
We emailed David and Serlina separately about our HK cell phone
number, hotel information and room number, but somehow I got the
feeling they weren't in any hurry to contact us.
I called their hotel early morning and was told they still hadn't checked in! KL couldn't take the useless staff any longer, grabbed my phone and demanded to DIRECT the rude and heavily-accented receptionist on how to locate a guest by David's name and BAM, we were connected to their room! They had checked in around 4 pm the previous day.
Mission accomplished. Serlina said to have dinner together.
KL and I spent the day in Sham Sui Po looking for a portable Wi-Fi
device and had lunch at a random roast goose restaurant which turned
out to be very good and inexpensive. We also had afternoon tea at
Macau Restaurant.
I'll leave the dinner and dessert on tomorrow's post.
