Advanced Microwave Oven (2004-11-13)
A very good thing about living in Tokyo is the ability to purchase advanced and high-tech gadgets and appliances that inundate the market. Let's not even go to the field of computer products, camera equipments and cell phones because that will just take too long. However KL and I particularly like the high speed internet connection which is fast, affordable and available for unlimited access all day long. From using my
Toshiba microwave oven which we bought three years ago makes me realize
how lucky I am being surrounded by modern commodity.
This unit uses infrared to
microwave, bake, and grill and is the most advanced appliance
I have ever used. It also has specific
temperature settings to prove yeast and make perfect egg pudding as
well as a variety of other dishes. It defrosts anything and
everything perfectly well without cooking the outside of the frozen
food while its center is still rock hard; all done with the touch of
one single button. The microwave has different settings to cook
different kinds of vegetables after calculating the weight and type of
the veggie itself, also done with pressing just one button. Corn
zapped in my microwave is the easiest way to cook it and yields the
sweetest result.
I can't imagine what the latest microwave ovens from Toshiba are like. It will be pretty hard to top an already perfect model that they made three years ago.
