BBQ Restaurant (2005-06-01)
The one and only restaurant, Denny's, near our apartment has closed down. Just when I was starting to feel sad about not able to have a decent meal within easy walking distance from our home, another eatery took its place. And it is none other than the franchised BBQ restaurant that I had so wanted to try for the past couple of years. The one I saw was in another suburb, and we were just too lazy to go there. Now that they have opened in our backyard, how can we wait any longer?
The restaurant is called Anrakutei and its food is reasonably
priced. All the tables have their own built-in grill in which
diners barbecue their meat over charcoal. There is also a tray of
sauces for people to mix their individualized dipping sauce. We
ordered two lunch special that came with rice, soup, etc. The
charcoal-flavored meat was so delicious that we had to get an extra
plate of meat after we finished our lunch set.
This is a restaurant we will absolutely go back for more.
