Sitaara Grove Indian Cuisine (2008-11-11)

Sitaara Grove

All three chefs gave me a "V" when they saw me with a camera, but I only managed to capture this one

This chef loves to perform his dough twirling skill for passersby

We were in a little alcove by ourselves for a short while

There are alfresco seating in the terrace

Menu

This Lady's Special Set which I ordered has more food than an average woman can handle. When I can't finish it, there isn't much hope for those petite Japanese women

KL went for the Kebab Set

My salad: VERY VERY tart. Every bite I took, I had to squint my eyes like I was eating a very sour lemon

Then the meat arrived: the sausage thing was tasty eaten with the green sauce, the tandoori chicken was like all tandoori chicken I've eaten in the past, overcooked and dry

When I was starting to get full, this large platter came. Loved the fragrant rice, the piping hot naan and the curries though

The bottom was crispy

Goes so well with the spicy vegetable curry

My dessert: surprisingly good lychee sorbet with mango sauce

Lots of meat in KL's set: chicken maryland and breast, jumbo prawn, fish and a lone cauliflower, and he opted for garlic naan for his meal

Don't remember what kind of tea KL picked for the set

After this very full lunch, we took a walk around the terrace and discovered this miniature stone shrine
