Update On My Birdfeeder (2004-07-10)
Heavy overnight rainfall flooded the feeder, remnant of the rainy season
A lone bird on the washing pole
The one at the bottom cranks its neck to call for its friends
There're seven sparrows by the feeder, including those obscured by the bar and the one hanging on the screen
The left one waits for its turn to feed
They're all looking down at something
Improved version of my bird feeder. When it rains, I just remove the top case and bring it inside. No more flooding and wasting of feed
A bird caught in mid-flight (upper right) just before it lands
Birds wait for the ones (half a dozen or so) inside the feeder to come out so they can feed
