Harvest (2009-07-24)
Picked some yellow and green beans, a Japanese cucumber, a green tomato (bottom rotten) today
Picked a boysenberry prematurely. The color is great but the taste is SOUR!

We ate it with Chinese roasted chicken
One day I picked enough basil to make pasta salad
These chilies are pretty hot
To make fried green tomatoes, you have to grow your own, there's none on the market here
S&P the slices, dip each in egg, then cornmeal and flour mixture (1:1 ratio), and fry 2 minutes per side
Crispy outside and soft inside, yum! We eat them with sweet chili sauce
