Hong Kong Museum of History IV (2014-02-02)
Forty-two schools in Hong Kong built before the War still exist (I think it meant WWII)
They include my school
My sisters' schools
And KL and his brother's school
You can go inside the displayed tram
Bedroom in a "modernized" house
Living room
Dining room
My family used to live in these crappy government housing in the 70's
Our entire apartment was 100 square feet, the kids had to sleep on folding beds like this one
Mom cooked on kerosene stoves just like these on the hallway outside the apartment
Later we moved out of the housing project and moved into THIS building. I can't believe they portrayed a building in that era and it's exactly the one we lived in!
There's this wall
with pictures depicting lives in Hong Kong in the old days
And there's KL's mother, OMG!!!!
KL's parents were the only two people in Hong Kong running a boat school in 1963
There's a store in the museum
Found these tiny tea cups, the white one on the left was HK$200/US$26
