Day Four Food (2005-11-27)
The hot Italiano panini with roasted vegies, chicken and mozzarella we had as a snack
We finally got to eat a NY hotdog from a vendor
The vendor was too heavy-handed on the pickles, ketchup and mustard that we chose on our hotdog. The sausage wasn't crunchy and smoky-flavored and the bun very dry. The hotdogs I make at home are a lot tastier than this one
Typical pizza place in NY. (This one is Pronto Pizza) A variety of pizza is put out for customers to choose from
Pronto Pizza right next to the World Trade Center site
Pepperoni and mushroom pizza, yummy! The slices were big too
Olives and tomato pizza was chock full of olives, I love it!
My roast duck (that tasted like Peking duck) and soy chicken, DEE---LISH!! Marco had roast duck and roast pork, also very good
KL's roast duck and ginger/green onion chicken. I had a taste of the yummy chicken
The not-so-good Chinese dessert:The sesame soup way too thick (and we had a good laugh saying it looked like quick sand that floated the spoon), the almond soup was watery and the ginko nuts in the tofu sheet soup tasted funny
