Take A Glimpse Of My Face! (2007-08-14)
The reason I don't put pictures of me on this blog is because I truly think I'm ugly (although some people who know me might disagree. Bless your heart!). This is not some delusional self-deprecating humbleness that takes over my rational thinking, it IS what I believe. Perhaps I have a high standard on the concept of "beauty". Few people in this world are beautiful, a great many of us, grown-ups and children, are displeasing to the eye, me included. And being a Chinese, I also believe in and agree with the saying that "rather than to show your shortcoming, hide it". Besides, I don't see how showing my/our face(s) is revelant to the information and thoughts I present in this blog.
Buuuuut, I promised yesterday I would post pictures of my BLURRY
face, so here they are. These photos won't give you a clear image
of me,
just let your imagination fly if you must. Trust me, it's better
this way.
