What's New In Ginza (2010-06-06)
After lunch in Tsukiji (
), we took the train to nearby
Ginza (
) for dessert! Getting out from Exit A3 of subway Ginza
Station, the road was closed to cars and bikes (for several hours on
weekend) as usual. There's a relaxed and jovial atmosphere around
from dog walkers and lots of overseas tourists.I noticed some new things happening in the area :
- Forever 21 has opened its second branch in Tokyo and the flagship store in Asia which occupies five floors in Matsuzaka Department Store.
- A brand new multi-storied Abercrombie & Fitch has also recently opened diagonally across from the department store.
- A large Uniqlo also sets up shop opposite the department store.
