Partenope (2011-05-18)
There's a reason Partenope's pizza is rated so high on Japan's popular restaurant web guide, tabelog. Every element on the made-to-order pizza is perfect: crispy/chewy crust, lovely wheaty aroma, and yummy housemade fresh tomato sauce.
We also ordered an appetizer platter (so-so) and two
entrees/main. Although the chargrilled entrees were both nice,
the pizza was just way better and more worth it cost-wise.
The restaurant made a boo boo by taking FOREVER to send over KL's dish. It arrived long after I had finished eating mine. I feel sorry for the server who was very apologetic and embarrassed about the delay and was pacing behind KL and cranking to peek into the kitchen continuously to check on the dish.
I would definitely want to return for their pizza but KL was still
unhappy about the time he was made to wait for his food.
