Rice Box (2014-01-28)
After lunch, we went to visit the burial vaults of KL's parents in a remote part of Hong Kong island. Then we went around town shopping all afternoon and returned to the hotel to rest. KL had dinner plans with friends and I didn't feel like going out to eat by myself.Around six, I went downstairs to Kai Kee right next to the hotel to
get a rice box. It's something I ate for lunch A LOT (although
not fancy food like bbq meat) when I was in high school. It
brought back so many memories...
I got a bbq combo box of soy chicken and roast goose. Oh
man! And I thought Tai Hing's bbq was good, Kai Kee's was
infinitely better. KL had a bite of the goose and liked it
too. In fact we loved it so much we had dinner at the restaurant
on our last night in Hong Kong.
