Sausage Shop (2006-03-09)
We sometimes buy sausages from a little shop called Konig on the main street that leads to Inokashira Koen Park in Kichijoji (
).
Their sausages and cured meat have won top prizes in the sausage circle
and they do taste great. Their prices are a bit high, but then
again, sausages in all specialty shops in Tokyo are pretty much on the
expensive side. Konig often has a stand outside selling sausages and ham hot off the grill on weekends. The German herb ham cubes on a stick is tasty, but at 4 bucks a pop, it's not a cheap treat.
