Are You Scared By Her? (2006-12-16)
Three people were advertising for a show called Kowai Ona (Scary Woman) on the street with one of them having dressed like the scary woman depicted on the poster of the show. They attracted a bunch of people who were snapping the woman's picture with their camera phones while giggling instead of being scared. As I was snapping her picture, a group of young junior highschool girls walked past and shrieked with genuine terror as if that woman was the spookiest thing they ever saw. They practically skedaddled the scene screaming and nearly in tears.
Oh those pure and innocent minds. So young and so
stupid. Anyone with half a brain of a walnut KNOWS that woman's
promoting a show by wearing a costume and donning a wig which by the
way hadn't
been washed since the Meiji Era. If those girls were putting on
their own show, they were very convincing. Otherwise they're just
young and stupid.
