Another Tabibito Anniversary (2007-02-25)
Wow, another Tabibito anniversary or Tabibitoversary! I surprised even myself for still doing this site. I used to keep a diary as a child but the enthusiasm died after just a few months, I think I started the habit so that I had an excuse to buy that big beautiful journal with a little lock and key. The journal was left over half unfilled before it was forgotten and eventually canned.
Good thing I am not like that with this blog. I am still eager
to snap that perfect picture or report that yummy meal we had.
Although the main purpose of this site is to document for personal
sake, it has also grown to become an information-sharing portal for
visitors who find things about Japan and our lives here
interesting. I've also enjoyed reading visitors'
thoughts about this site and the things I wrote, thank you guys!
You know who you are!
For the past twelve months, KL and I saw interesting things, walked
more roads, traveled outside Japan twice, ate huge amount of food and
took many pictures. I hope we can do even more and cover even
more places the next twelve months. I know my family and readers
will be disappointed if I leave this journal unfilled, forgotten and
canned.
