Making Bread Dough In The Food Processor (2007-11-11)

Today's baking lesson: Making bread the easy way.

There's hardly any kneading involved if you have a large powerful food processor that will do 99% of the work for you.  Click the picture to see the steps.

The pictures'll also show you how I failed to make cubed-shape bread in my newly acquired small bread tin.  If you are able to follow the recipe and make the perfect loaf with corners and everything, I salute you.

Small Loaf Bread in 18cmX10cmX9cm tin

Bread flour 200gm
Instant yeast 4gm
Warm water (30C/86F) 130ml
Salt 4gm
Sugar 10gm
Butter or shortening 15 gm

Flour Sponge
Whole wheat flour 20gm
Boiling water 20ml

To make flour sponge:  Pour boiling water into flour and mix till it forms a ball.  Let cool completely before use.  Can cover it and refrigerate up to 2 days till ready to use.
