Bread Case (2007-11-23)
Well...this is almost like an inevitable item I needed to buy now that I frequently make bread. Seriously, I really did need an electric knife or something that can slice the loaves neatly. I saw the bread case on Amazon and decided it's just the thing I'd been looking for.
The main purpose of this bread box is the slicer guide that allows
one to slice bread neatly and evenly. It also comes with a
serrated knife that can be stowed underneath the base. The blade
of the knife is flexible, almost like a boning knife. It doesn't
so much slice as it does glide
through bread. It slices soooooo much better and easier than the
one I already have which I got from a 100Yen shop (dollar shop).
I like this bread case although the last slice of a loaf is still not as straight and even in thickness as the rest like the store-bought bread. But you'll need an electric meat slicer to achieve that kind of result, so overall I'm pretty happy with my new purchase.
