Blue Lotus 3 (2010-03-07)
KL felt like Thai food one day so off we went to Blue Lotus.
Seafood and rice vermicelli salad was chockful of stuff and the
dressing good, we liked it.
Crab Fried Rice was terrible. All I could taste was fried EGG,
and couldn't see any crab meat in my bowl (KL said his got some) except
for the two tiny crab claws on the side. It's one very expensive
egg fried rice.
Deep-fried appetizer was heaven and hell to me. The heaven was the prawn patties which was great; the hell part came in the form of fish balls which tasted like SOAP. We later figured it's the kaffir lime leaves whose flavor is so offensive to my taste buds.
