Rigoletto Bar And Grill (2010-03-16)
Late lunch at Roppongi Hills () after the movie. We walked around trying to find food that appealed to us and then we saw pictures of Rigoletto's big juicy burgers. Without second thoughts, we followed the direction to the 5th floor of West walk.
The restaurant is quite large and we got seated at one of six tables
on a raised platform designated for non-smokers. The
1800Yen/US$20 Lunch Special included Tapas, Salad, Choice of Entree,
Dessert and Drinks with free refills. Considering the prime
location in posh Roppongi Hills, that's a very good price.
Tapa was good with bite-sized samples of smoked salmon, eggplant
fritto, chorizo, and Spanish omelette. We both chose Ceasar Salad
which arrived with limp romaine lettuce coated in a very very thick
dressing topped with Parmesan from those green bottles. The taste
was alright but the thick gooey dressing was not good.
The burger was tasty and juicy with a slight chargrilled flavor that was accompanied with a generous amount of crispy fries. The bite-sized piece of tiramisu and coffee/tea completed the set.
