Esola (2010-08-30)
Esola is a rather new mall in Ikebukuro (
), right across
from Metropolitan Plaza. According to their website, it's built
to enable Ikebukuro Station users a nice place to browse, shop, dine
and relax. But why a French bulldog is used as the mascot for the
mall I have no idea.Exit 3 on Subway Marunouchi (
) Line, Yurakucho Line and Fukutoushin
Line opens out to the escalators that leads to the mall. JR
Ikebukuro South Exit also affords easy access to Esola. The
building isn't all that big, so the number of shops are limited and
they are mostly midium size.
We went there to have a very yummy lunch, tell you all about it
tomorrow.
