Houtou Noodles At Funatsuya (2011-06-10)
We made a stop at Funatsu-hama Onsengai to eat lunch, namely the regional specialty Houtou noodles which are thick flat noodles usually served in miso-based soup or hotpot with lots of vegetables.
The taste was pretty much as expected and the noodles were quite floury. We prefer springy noodles, so houtou is not quite our thing.
