BANH XEO Saigon (2013-03-05)
I like banh xeo, even tried to make it once. There's now a veitnamese restaurant in Shinjuku (
) that serves it, of
course I'll have to give it a try. You can order the banh xeo alone but the 1350Yen/US$15.5 sets are a
much greater value and that's what we ordered. The banh xeo was
very crispy on the edges, had reasonable amount of shrimp and pork and
bean sprouts in it, but I wish they would give you more herbs in the
lettuce
pot. A yummy meal overall.
