Corn Husk Soup (2013-07-03)

What to do with the huge amount of husk left from the baby corn I bought from Okinawa shop?  Make Chinese long soup (soup boil and simmer for 2-3 hours)!

Corn husk is very good for bloating or fluid retention and is especially helpful in cleansing the body of toxins. 

In summer when corn is at their best, boil a couple ears of sweet fat corn, husk and all, with carrots and pork and Chinese dried dates, you'll have a nutritious bowl of "detox" soup.
