Custard Egg Treats (2005-10-23)
Autumn means pumpkin time. Japanese pumpkin is actually more closely related to squash than true pumpkins (but I may be wrong about this). Anyway there are all these pumpkin sweets in stores now.
I saw some cute little baked custard (it is known as pudding in
Japan) desserts in egg shells recently. If you buy ten, the
store will package them in a real egg carton. That's got to put a
smile on any one receiving them as a gift.
