Fish Monger (2006-10-19)
I love the fresh fish corner at Foodshow in Shibuya (). Besides getting very fresh seafood at a good price, I like to watch the man scale and gut the fish. He is so skilled and fast. Watching any skillful person in the food industry work their magic is pure enjoyment. I can watch the pizza guy toss his dough or the Chinese man pull his noodles or the Japanese guy turn his squid balls at a mad speed or the pastry chef pipe whipped cream on cakes (and many other food experts) behind their respective glass windows all day long.Back to top
