Pho 97 (2006-11-07)
Wanted something light for lunch to offset all those meaty and heavy food we had the past couple of days. So we opted for Vietnamese noodles.
I'd read positive reviews on Pho 97 and that's why we picked that
restaurant. The unmistakable smell of basil and herbs was strong
as soon as we entered the crowded place. Most of the other diners
were slurping noodles. Good sign.
KL ordered the pho with rare beef and I got the pho with
seafood. The soup was light and fragrant and the serving was just
right, not like the huge kind you get in American style
restaurants. The pho noodles were a bit too thin for me but since
I love rice noodles in general, they were still good.
