Day Trip 3-- Lunch, Shopping (2009-07-29)
After we left Seisenryo, we arrived at a building in the mountain not far away to have a buffet lunch.
The surroundings is picturesque, but once again we couldn't see much
due to the rain and heavy fog. I hadn't expected anything from
the kitchen of the restaurant built in the middle of nowhere who also
boasted "natural" ingredients in their dishes. (which translates
to: lots of cheap vegies and tofu)
Well, food was top grade crappy! Ingredients were scant, tastes
were bland, and choices were limited. Since I was still full from
eating all those cherries just a couple of hours ago, what little
appetite that was left wasn't helped by the sight of the poor quality
food. I didn't finish my first lot and I couldn't bother trying
the curries and noodles.
After lunch we went to the souvenir shop on the first floor to get
some shopping done.
