My beloved New York style pizza is now available in Japan!!!
We arrived at the Shibuya (
) branch at 0945 am when they were still
serving breakfast, so we waited 15 minutes for their lunch
service. Just before 10 am, the staff finished putting out the
freshly baked pizza on the counter shelves and boy oh boy, the smell
was so great.
We bypassed the disgusting flavors like mayo potatoes or teriyaki
chicken and went for the pepperoni pizza. One bite of the
fragrant pie and I was back to New York! The taste was 100% New
York pizza, the base was crispy, the crust was chewy and the sauce was
seasoned well.
If the first slice was worth 100 marks, the second one was 200! We shared a second slice of stuffed pizza (with pepperoni and sausage) and it was soooooo gooooood! Same tasty sauce and meat, except the whole thing is encased in a crispy and chewy crust.
Ah man, it's so nice Sbarro decided to open four branches in
Japan.
