Remembering Wendy The Dog (2010-10-03)
There was a very unusual employee at KL's company. Her name was Wendy and she was a SHEEPDOG.
Wendy wasn't just a mascot for the company, she really was a fully-recognized employee
issued her own staff ID and drew a yearly salary. (I wonder if she paid
income tax?)
During the day, she visited fellow colleagues floor by floor and
occasionally even went to other companies, and at night she slept in a
pet shop. Her job was to give moral support and make workers
happy, and she did both with flying colors.
I had wanted to write about Wendy long time ago but had been putting
it off thinking "Oh, I'll just do it later" never imagining she would
die (of old age). SIGH...
