Four Seasons Chinese Restaurant (2010-11-13)
The beautiful dim sum lunch just woke up our craving for Chinese food! So we went to Chinatown, which is a stone's throw from Piccadilly Circus Station. We wanted simple Chinese BBQ for dinner and after going around and
checking out all the BBQ meat hanging in restaurants' windows in the
main street, we decided to go to Four Seasons which also happened to
have the longest line.
We waited about 25 minutes for our basement dining room table which
is like a rectangular communal table. There's no space
between us and our two neighbors. This is the kind of setting
that makes KL the most uncomfortable.
Our simple BBQ over rice plates took forever to arrive which is odd
considering the meat's already cooked. Perhaps our expectation
was too high, the meat was just so-so. Although the roast duck
was pretty nice, the roast pork was tough and hard and the chicken
dry. Maybe we didn't order the "right" dishes.
Don't know Four Season's address but it's right in the heart of Chinatown.
