Hiking is fun. Besides the natural flora and fauna, there may be many other interesting things one can see. During our hike we saw several pretty shrines and statues. I also saw wooden owls for sale in most of the shops there, Takaosan (
) must be
well-known for owls.Although our trip to Takaosan's peak left me a little stiff and sore
the next day, I am all ready to go on another hike. But it'll
have to be in Spring, it's just too cold now.
