Day One Food (2005-11-21)

The most exciting food we ate the first day in NY was at the Oyster Bar & Restaurant.  The menu there was much more extensive than the one we went to in Tokyo, but the interior is pretty much the same in both places. 

I had a taste of the Manhattan clam chowder KL ordered and it was pretty good.  He thought the oysters there were not as sweet and flavorful as the ones in Tokyo.  My Cajun grilled grouper was passable and the serving was generous.  All in all, the food was not bad, but I would try a lot more different restaurants before I return to Oyster.
