Outback Hamburgers (2005-12-14)

KL and I regretted that we only managed to eat one hamburger (and not even in a real burger joint) on our entire trip to the US, the burger country.  So we decided to satisfy our sudden craving for burgers here in Tokyo.  The best bet would be to have it in an American (or Aussie?) restaurant and the only one we know is Outback Grill.

KL and I both ordered the same thing: peppered bacon burger.  The serving was generous enough to fill us up and the burgers were very juicy.  Unfortunately the patty was clearly pan-fried and not chargrilled, which is a flavor I love so much.  The bacon needed to be more crispy and the bun should have been toasted more properly.  I would give the burger a 6 out of 10.

The refillable drinks are nice and the honey bread is once again a winner.  No matter how they muff your meal, the warm slightly crusty honey bread will always satisfy your stomach.
