Box For The Kitten (2005-12-15)
We are well and truly into winter now as night temperatures can drop drastically to the low single digits (Celsius). I don't know where Mama Cat and her baby sleep at night, but I worry about them.
I got the biggest box I could find in our supermarket and put it out
in the balcony for the cats. While Mama Cat shows no interest in
it at all so far, the kitten seems to like the box. As soon as
the kitten discovered there was no monster or a dog in the box, she
hogged it as her own home. She used to nap in it all the time
when it was first put out, now she uses it sparingly.
Perhaps both cats have found a better place to spend the cold nights but my box will stay until the weather turns warm.
