Negishi Restaurant (2006-03-28)
The very first dinner KL and I had with friends at a restaurant since we came to Tokyo in 1999 was at Negishi in Shinjuku (
)
whose specialty is chargrilled beef tongue, steamed rice with wheat and
slimy grated Japanese yam.We've been going to the one in Kichijoji (
) lately because we
(particularly me) like chargrilled food. I love just about
everything on their menu (except the slimy yam), especially the grilled
spicy pork, beef tongue and their wheat rice combination. Their
set meal is pretty reasonable too.
