DisneySea Burgers Kinda Suck (2007-05-10)
I don't know what drove me to suggest to KL and Samuel to eat hamburgers for lunch when there are so many other restaurants in DisneySea. There are Southeast Asian food, curry, New York style sandwiches, Italian food etc that we could've had. Granted DisneySea is a sprawling place, when you're hungry and tired (from walking and standing in lines), you won't feel like trekking halfway across the park for a particular cuisine. We settled on hamburgers because it was nearby and at that moment didn't feel like such a bad choice. But I later found out it was a bad choice.
The restaurant runs like any fast food joint where you order, pay,
pick up the food at the counter and eat at any table you can
find. I saw burger set already made and lined up on the large
counter ready to be delivered, which means the food wasn't fresh.
My burger was barely warm, dry and lack of flavor. The fries
were also lukewarm with little crunchiness. My lunch kinda sucked.
