Last Day In HK, Back To Tokyo (2011-11-26)
There may be better fish balls in some remote shops in some remote suburb, but this bowl of springy fish ball and fish slice noodles from Yuen Kee is more than good enough for me HK$23/US$3
Love fresh rice noodles
Braised beef stomach with rice noodles HK$23
Coffee HK$13/US$1.6
Maxim's Chinese Restaurant at HK airport
Spacious
Setting
Since Maxim's and Serenade belong to the Maxim's Group, their dim sum should be more or less the same. But this rice rolls' sheet was too thick, unlike Serenade's thin one
Trio of Chinese BBQ HK$160/US$20
The other side
Rice HK$14/US$1.7
The roast duck was moist and fragrant with a crispy skin
The soy chicken was so delicious
The chasui was too lean for my liking but still tender, not tough at all
Boarding
We had even more leg room on the flight back
Same hot food as the last flight...
Braised pork with tomato
KL had the same beef...(sweat)
Skyliner tickets
As I was unpacking, Efoo thought the empty suitcase was as good a place as any to throw up >_
Efoo checked into his hotel room the day before we left for our trip
Very nervous
No eye see
