Aux Bacchanales Ginza (2011-12-18)

Aux Bacchanales in Ginza

There's a small bakery toward the end of the restaurant

Cakes

Expensive housemade jams (about US$25 for a 10-oz jar)

They sell tarts too

Our tables

Our view

Very Parisian

The server soon brought us the daily menu ( the 1260Yen/$16 lunch set is a very good value in Ginza)

Baguette came first

Steak frites 1980Yen/US$25

Surprisingly large

Duck Confit 2100Yen/$27

VERY crispy skin and tender meat, delicious

The duck came with extra bread

Medium well, so-so taste

As in a typical French cafe in Paris, payment is made at the table (instead of at the cashier in most other restaurants)
