Lau Pa Sat (2014-12-29)
Lau Pa Sat is right in the central business district
There are these big posters outside Lau Pa Sat
Pretty large inside
Seafood stall
Dessert section
Walk through to the back of the hawker center is
this street lined with satay vendors
By 7:15pm, most tables were set up
From what I can gather, most patrons were foreigners or tourists
We randomly picked this stall
His actively grilling the meat misled us to think the sticks were served fresh

Our Set A
All the meat sticks were just lukewarm and very dry. Mutton wasn't gamey at all but it also tasted like the beef sticks
Prawns were also just barely warm
The prawns fell off the sticks themselves, not a good sign of freshness
Got Char kway teow
Made-to-order
Too sweet for our taste and no smoky wok flavor
Juice and dessert stall in the center of the place
Juice choices
Prices from S$2.5 to 3.5
Fruit kept in the chill chest
Starfruit juice was so yummy
